Jenni, from Story of My Life Blog challenged us to blog every day in May. I'm totally taking her up on the challenge because as a blogger I know I can be more consistent and this will also give you more insight in to who I am. Today we are supposed to blog about the story of our life so here are 25 Things you need to know about me. :)
- I'm a lonely only
- I love the library and the smell of old books but I would totally rather read a book on my iPad.
- If you haven't guessed, I bleed Purple and Gold. Geaux Tigers!
- I want Lou Holtz to be my Grandpa. (I met him after the National Championship Game in New Orleans and it was the only thing that made the defeat bearable.)
- I want Steve Spurrier to be my Dad. OK! OK! Maybe just my permanent golf partner. (Darth Visor as my Dad would still be pretty cool).
- I get really antsy when I haven't been on a trip in a long time.
- I want to live in Capri, Italy. Have you been? It is pure magic! I could totally live there the rest of my life, pick lemons for a living, marry a boat captain and bask in the Italian sun.
- Venice gave me anxiety when I was there. Maybe it was being surrounded by water.
- I have two, sometimes three jobs. I feel like I have always had more than one job.
- I don't have children but I am a god mother to the most adorable little girl.
- I'm pretty sure the man I am supposed to spend the rest of my life with got lost or as Carrie Bradshaw once said, "Hit by a Bus"
- Probably a little addicted to Instagram.
- I'm afraid for my friends and family to read my blog but am totally OK with perfect strangers knowing what is going on in my life.
- I have a major cupcake weakness. I just can't resist. And for anyone that wants to know the best cupcakes come from Lake Charles, Louisiana (Cypi's Cake Box). They are heaven!
- I've had 9 vehicles since I was 15 years old. (I'm 34 now). So excessive!
- Dream vacation would be to Australia
- I totally play the lotto. I mean how else am I supposed to finance my dream vacation to Australia?
- I've seen Better Than Ezra more times than a person should see a band. Pretty sure I could give you what the set list would be any given night.
- All my friends use me as their husband/boyfriend sitter. If they go out of town they send their men to me. I guess that means I am safe and trusted.
- I probably know more about certain sports than most men. I'm kind of obsessive.
- I have no problem traveling alone.
- I turned down a date in Paris from one of the hottest men I have ever seen because I had just watched Taken and I was traveling alone. Totally regret that!
- I met Dave Franco one night and told him he could be James Franco's stand in. (To my credit I didn't know James had a brother!)
- I once got the chance to watch 311 and Incubus from the stage. (Brandon Boyd sat the entire 311 set next to me with his shirt off)
- Socks with heels drive me crazy!!!!
oh i love this idea! and better than ezra is awesome!
ReplyDeleteThey make me so happy! And they are truly nice guys.
DeleteHahaha your reason for turning down the hot guy is legit though, that movie is terrifying. I'm an only too! I really love it though.
ReplyDeleteSeriously! If that movie wouldn't have come out probably two weeks before I might have walked off with the hot guy!
DeleteSteve Spurrier? No!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteBut I heart Darth Visor and he isn't even our coach.
Deletei feel the same way when it comes to people close to me reading my blog. love the support, but feel like they will laugh at me or something
ReplyDeleteYour blog is so good no one would laugh at you. Maybe once I really get going I will tell them about it and create a fb for it.
DeleteHey Brei, I found your blog through the Blog Every Day in May linkup post!!
ReplyDeleteHaha, what a creative take on the prompt! I enjoyed reading that... love the Carrie Bradshaw reference and I'm an only child too!

Stopped by your blog. Love it! Will follow.
DeleteI love how you made a list about your life instead of writing a paragraph. Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteI originally wrote a paragraph but it was so boring I figured this was way more fun. Thank you for the sweet words!
DeleteI LOVE that you play the lotto! so awesome and fun!
ReplyDeleteYou should totally make your dream come true and go to Australia :) I've been there two years ago and it is so beautiful. The people are so friendly and social. You will love it!

I've got a goal of by the time I am 36 to make it to Australia. It will happen even if I have to hide in someone's suitcase.
